In cybersecurity, dependency is exposure.

A couple of weeks ago, we wrote that the most important capabilities in cybersecurity are the ones you won't see for decades, just as in stealth aviation. This week, Project Glasswing became public. Yet Glasswing did not begin this week. It had been running quietly for months; this is the information that remains stealth and classified. Built around unreleased AI models that uncovered thousands of zero-day vulnerabilities in the open-source code the world depends on. The disclosure was not a choice. It was a necessity. Flaws hidden in the foundations of hospitals, energy grids, defense networks, and financial systems. Flaws that decades of human analysis, automated scanning, and billions in cybersecurity software spending had never found. The implications (aka liability/insurance) were too significant to contain. Cypher Sentinel (of Vektorium) since June 2025, monitored and studied, together with Anthropic, this moment approaching. Its inevitability. The threshold where the entire conventional model of cybersecurity (fragmented, reactive, blind between its own tools) would be exposed as structurally inadequate. Not because the people who built this industry weren't capable. But because the architecture was never designed to see this deep. This awareness and conviction shaped every engineering decision we made over the past year. Cypher Sentinel was not built in response to Glasswing. It was built because it predicted Glasswing would arrive. And we are proud of it. Deployed entirely within sovereign infrastructure with zero external dependencies. We built it because we knew that the next era of cybersecurity will not be defined by who has the most tools or spends the most money. It will be defined by who controls their own intelligence. When a consortium, a company — however brilliant, however well-intentioned — becomes the entity that sees the vulnerabilities in your infrastructure before you do, that is not a partnership. That is a dependency. In cybersecurity, dependency is exposure. The ability to see for yourself. To detect, verify, and respond within your own parameters, without waiting for someone else to tell you where you are vulnerable. This is what Cypher Sentinel was built to be. Glasswing is the public awareness. The question is not whether AI will reshape cybersecurity; that is already settled. The question is whether nations and companies will own their defense, or rent it. More to come. vektorium.io #ProjectGlasswing #SovereignSecurity #CyberConvergence #CriticalInfrastructure #Vektorium #CypherSentinel
